Launch Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing rocketry and aerospace innovation through hands-on learning. We host Canada's largest student rocketry challenge, providing post-secondary teams the opportunity to design, build, and launch high-powered rockets.
Our mission is to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators by giving students real-world experience in design, manufacturing, testing, and teamwork, all while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in Canadian aerospace.

Launch Canada's special projects bring students from different schools together with experienced professionals to work on aerospace systems that are too large or specialized for one competition team.
Engine testing and turbopump development expose students to systems engineering, advanced manufacturing, instrumentation, controls, and the discipline required to test energetic hardware safely. The work gives industry partners a practical way to teach, advise, and support emerging Canadian talent.

Meet the board of directorsThere is more than one way to help a rocket fly
Launch Canada depends on people who can review a design, run a safe field operation, organize a conference, document the event, transport equipment, or solve the dozens of practical problems that appear along the way.
Aerospace experience is valuable, but it is not required for every role. Volunteers, judges, mentors, speakers, suppliers, and sponsors all contribute in different ways.
